Be A BELIEVER

My Dear World blog was one of those blogs you publish, then instantly want to retract. It’s a bitter pill to tell the world that something didn’t work out, you felt like you failed and are struggling to continue. Even after the messages started flooding in, my finger itched to press delete.

Support came at me from every angle – facebook, whatsapp, texts, emails, it almost made me cry. Actually it did make me cry.

Thank you for collectively telling me to pick myself off the floor. It meant a lot.

This record attempt was never going to be a smooth road to success, but about patience, persistence and dogged unblinkered perseverance to unguaranteed triumph.

Your messages made me realise that you are following.

I haven’t been sharing my inner journey and I should, the twists and turns, the moments of euphoria and depression.

So I’ve started a Patreon campaign to build a loving community.

My first gift to my Believers is a talk I will be filming this weekend – exclusively for my Believers! It will be like presenting to an audience, a special audience of friends scattered around the world. The presentation will be me, introducing my story and will shed some light on what I am doing and the question everyone always wants to know: why. I plan to dress up and everything!

Then in the weeks to come, I’ll be sending out signed copies of my book and RowLiaRow club gear. There will be more exclusive videos and rewards added – for example, Infinity Believers will have the option to get a pair of the ‘Lia’ frame Ocean Racing Sunglasses I’m involved in designing!!!

The first thing your Patreon support will go towards is commissioning the next phase of the new boat design. Believers will get sneak peaks – the opportunity to weigh in on the design and build at its various stages!

I let the bullets fly, oh let them rain
My life, my love, my drive, it came from
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer

Be a Believer.
